    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    Electronic brake relay BR1 is used to rapidly shut down spring force brakes on three-phase AC motors without external switching contacts. The response delay through the generator voltage of the freewheeling motor is prevented by the DC-side brake shutdown induced by BR1, in a similar way to external contacts. An additional rectifier can be omitted by incorporating diodes.

    Timely brake action averts the damage risk for man and machine.
